Sources reveal that Gideon, who calls the shots, then called Standard CEO Orlando Lyomu, who directed Executive Editor and Head of News Kipkoech Tanui, Editor-in-chief Ochieng Rapuro and newly hired Managing Editor Denis Galava to urgently bring down the story.
